I know the XR-2 quite different compared to the PH-1 and 2, due to the amount of air it takes to work the call. Personally I hunt alot of backwoods potholes and would go with the PH-2. It's more of an open water double in that you can get on it without it cracking over and go very low and ducky without having a note fall apart on ya.

DMM in double can do what you are asking. Test drive one and see for yourself.

Dude common now you sent me a pm saying you are sorry for whatever you did and for me not to be mean to you. Than you just threw out something that will make me respond which will make you feel bad again. But instead I am just going to say ok. As for being jealous that just doesn't happen because I myself has been able to have everything I have ever wanted. No, not because my parents paid for everything but because I work allot. Who am I to say anything about your parents spoiling you. If they make allot of money good for them because I know they worked hard for it and they can spend it as they wish. By the way I have a close friend that has his own house and just got a new Lotus all from his parents. Am I jealous nope all I say is Brian can your dad take me in his jet this summer!

I have heard to many people say the ph 2 sticks on them.

If you can drive the xr 2 then its your baby.

You could wait for the new calls, to be out around june last I heard.

Cocobola ph 1 would be worth looking at too.

DMM in double can do what you are asking. Test drive one and see for yourself. i agree ,even though the t/r in double gets loud enough for me.

The PH-2 is by far my favorite call. Nice and quiet with lots of rasp. I had a hell of time with the xr-2, but the I like my PH-1 , but not nearly as raspy and ducky then my Ph-2. I can already tell that the PH-2 will be my #1 go to call this duck season and I haven't had a prob with the PH-2 sticking on me. I don't have a DMM so I can't say anything about that call, But I do have a single reed SMM, and that call is a bit to loud for where I hunt. I also hunt on some smaller potholes and over open water and really either call will get the job done

I got a poly and acrylic ph-1 and a poly ph-2. Not very impressed with any of them. They aren't my style of call...they lock up on me constantly. I haven't ever tried a xr-2 but I heard Field Hudnall on one last season and it sounded awesome...definitely sounded like the duckiest call Zink makes. He said that was his go to duck call but he also said it blows differently than the power hens. If you can I would go somewhere where you can try them out.
