Any news on this years opener? As in when and how many? Im speakin for Illinois.

haha, your right, thats exactly whats flyin around--rumors. Im sure they arent way off from base, though.

Im just gettin really tired of shootin one goose or one pintail when i see more pintails and honkers now than i have in the past 5 years.

I think similar to last years as well. I did remember hearing a rumor about a 3 geese limit instead of 2 for the regular season. Don't quote me on that though, just what I heard. This would be for the central zone, but don't know for sure. I hunt around Quincy and Nauvoo with my dad and a few buddies.

Actually they are talking about a 2 goose followed by a 1 goose and then back to a two goose limit. Haven't heard anything set in stone yet.
