First: Jeff did not get "busted" at his house. Jeff did not get any guns seized. Jeff does not have ANY charges or tickets pending against him.

Second: Yes, Fed. Fish and Game did go to the shop to investigate allegations made by a third party. Funny how nasty divorces can get isnt it?

Third: At this time there are no charges against or pending against anyone in this matter. I highly doubt there will be.

Game violations are a black eye on our sport no matter who commits them, and when it is someone in the public eye it is that much easier for those who oppose our sport to use against us. PLEASE don’t make their job any easier by spreading unsubstantiated rumors of this nature. To them a rumor is almost as good as a conviction.

I went home last week and not much longer after I touched down in STL I was already getting calls from people, asking if I was still going to WW since Jeff's place was raided. My head almost exploded. I did ask around, and of course, no one had any answers. I've always found it interesting that no one has said anything about Zink's foul up on his second video "Cluckin Crazy." In the second farm pond scene he shoots two singles that come in, the limit in Ohio. Then shoots when the big group comes in and knocks down another one or two birds. Even if he didn't kill any on the last group he was still trying too, but you can obivously see atleast one bird fall at his gun.

Now I really don't care, because they were group shooting which we all do. I own several Zink calls also, I like the guy, but I do get annoyed when everyone on the Avery Forum does this $hit and they don't notice things like that.

Never in my 14 years of hunting have I ever seen anyone make sure this was the case.

Takem is the word, not take yours, every once in a while if we are on a great hunt and theres only a couple guys we will relax and single out what ducks we want.

Well than I'm a criminal...because I shoot until the truck is full of the groups limit...(if it's cool with my buddies) I don't know of any crew that hunts and waits for one guy to polish off his final bird to get his limit!!

I don't do a lot of group hunting. typically its me and one other guy. 98% of the time it's 3 and 3. Ducks get mixed a little more. But it's usually even.

They claim thier birds and I just keep on going. It's part of hunting. There have been days when one of my buddies or me have killed almost every bird there. We don't shoot over our group limit, but who stops when the group isn't done. Plus, when group shooting, a lot of times you don't know who killed what.

So instead of bashing about 1 over the limit and other issues how about the Folks who are making calls and videos start looking at who and what has kept them out of working in Factory's,on Garbage trucks,ect.ect. and start trying to give back just a bit more to the ones who pay there salary everyday?Participation goes a long way!!

How do you know, because no one has called you and asked you to go hunting??? How many seminars and shows do you think these guys travel to and do a year. Any guesses??? Uhh...NOPE. I've been to seminars by several different call makers or prostaffers and not one was to promote their product specifically. All the ones I've been too have been to help you be a better caller and hunter. I've seen Zink guys tune different brands of calls and I've seen Foiles guys tune different brands of calls for people. Jeff has donated legends,meatgrinders and a couple high end calls to the youth duck hunt at sanganois state wildlife area every year.And I try to help anyone who asks. nobody is perfect in this world so be careful casting stones.
