Well, the big one year came and went. I made the news for a car that started on fire when I was winching it onto the flatbed. I was in it when it started on fire. Ten minuets before that, I tore the ACL in my left knee, surgery soon. Now the wife is on strike. While she is on the picket lines last night some meat head decided that MY 01 Chev 1500HD(the only truck in the parking lot) was a good spot to back his Jeep Cherokee into.

Basic break down..........

Busted knee
Almost blew up
Lack of $3,200 a month income
$8,000 knee surgery(benefits suspend on Sunday, on wifes insurance)
Truck going to body shop

WHAT A $HITTY month

Good news........

I'll be able to walk for the most part when the season comes
And, I'm progressivle getting better with the goose callin :D

When it rains it pours bud. Kee p your head up and it will all come full circle. Been in your position before and it's not easy. Wife got in a wreck and was off work 11 months, damn near lost our house and cars. That was 3 years ago and I'm just catching up financially.

My best advice:

Sit down with the wife and have a good long talk about whats happening. Your both going to be stressed out, dont let it affect your marriage.

If you think your going to have $$$ problems talk to your creditors now and explain whats going on. My credit union let me just make intrest payments on our vehicles until the wife went back to work. That saved our asses. If they know whats up they will usually work with you and help, they love people who will try to pay what they can in an emergency. They lose money on repo's and bankrupcies.

Good luck on the recovery my friend. If theres anything we can do let me know.

Man i hope it gets better for you soon, 2002 was a year that pretty much destroyed me , my dad died in sept, i got divorced in dec and my mom had cancer in dec, and i was an only child to deal with it, pretty much ruined me financially all of it togather,, But just hang in there things will definately get better..

HOLY #$^@*#$&!!!!

I am sorry for luck brother....but, I can honestly say...a lot of us have been there and we have survived only to get stronger. Kelly gave you some GREAT advice. You guys need to work through this whole deal TOGETHER. Things will be tough, tougher than you probably think...but bare down, and prepare for the fight. Cut back anything not necessary...long distance on the phone, big money cable tv, etc. Just remember...it is only temporary and keep the faith brother!!!

most importantly....love your family no matter the state of financial affairs...and work together for the good of the family....keep love and family at the center and work things out from there.

If there is anything we can do....let us know!!!!

Well...surgery is tomorrow, Wed. the 26th at 7:30am. I'll be out for a few weeks. Works not to happy. Bummer for them.

I know that I will be mostly able to hunt the fields, but, water hunts may be a little mor difficult. Guess I'll have to stay in the boat!!!!! :D

I'll work hard at the rehab and gett better as soon as possible.

Wish me luck!!! :P

i think that the man up stairs has it in for you right now. you might just want to lay low for a while. dont do anything. just sleep and dont move. then you should be ok
