Well I bought 2 Benelli's within in 2 weeks...well sorta  I picked up a new M2 from Cabelas 2 weeks ago becuase it was on clearance, it was the Timber camo pattern which Im not sure if they are making in RH M2's still or not. So I broke the gun in, put about 250 or more rounds through it with no glitches. I really wanted the Advantage Max-4 HD camo pattern but they didnt have it, also wanted the SBEII but didnt want to spend the Extra $500 at the time to shot 3.5's. So I get my Cabelas cc bill in the mail today, open it up, and about fall over dead. Buy a new Benelli Semi Auto and pay 0% financing and 0 payments until June 30, 2009! I just bought one!!!!!!!!!!! But I remembered one thing, Cabelas told me 30 days no questions asked return policy, including firearms! Couldnt believe this, so I called them on the phone and found out for sure, I could return my used M2 for a full refund of the purchase price plus tax I paid.

So Cabelas was nice enough to "Hold" me a NEW SBEII in Advantage MAX-4 HD, 28" (26" was on hold for someone else already) until the "deal" date starts on June 3rd. So come June 3rd, Ill go get my new Benelli  Also set back a PatternMaster Extended Range Choke 8) because anything I buy on the same transaction is ALSO 0% and NO Payments until June 30 2009. Also have 7 Boxes of shells set back for my cousins bachleor party next month :D And one box of 3" steel for ducks that was on sale. Who knows what else Ill walk out with that day

does nobody else that this as wrong. you bought a gun you didnt really want, shot it 300 times and found a way to get the gun you really wanted. so you are returning a used gun that has nothing wrong except you want a more expensive one and cant afford both?

Sounds like you shop at Cabelas like I do, except I live in Canada and we dont have one here. I have to cross the border in Detroit and go to the Cabela's in Dundee Michigan. And when I go there I make it count. Im not scared when I go there, no limits ! Until I have to tell my wife what I bought. But I have figured out the fix. You know the bags of candy and nuts etc. near the cash registers. My wife loves the gummy bears. One small bag of gummy bears and one small bag of sour keys for her and there is no worries when I get home. Oh yeah and a bag of Jerky for me for the ride home.

Never said I thought it was wrong. But when Cabelas offered me a no questions return full refund, It tells me they stand behind there name, they want happy customers. I talked to 3 guys in the gun department and asked if they ever run any specials such as discounts or financing etc, they all 3 said no never on benelli's, other then a manufactors rebate. I talked to the manager that day and he said its customer satisfaction that is the reason they return. Then 2 weeks later they put out this "deal" on new benelli's. They said they would just put it stock in the used guns where they were selling for $1100 which is more then I originally paid the manager said. So Im not starting a argument, I was just saying how stand up a place Cabelas is, great employees and great business.

great deal everyone who has a chance to buy the gun of there dreams should do it end of story. as for cabelas they will now resell the gun at a discount, still make money and someone else will be extremely happy because they now get a "used" or "returned" gun that is in fact brand new at a steal of a deal as well.

Actually the markup on guns is very small so its not a "win-win" as some might think. It's reasons like this that equipment prices are so high.

ding ding ding

Like the same people who buy waders, use them, tear them on their own merit (well even after 3 years or so) and return them for a new pair.

It's transactions like these that will eventually raise prices for all.

Congrats on the purchase of your SBE2, however.
