I understand how a Showtime is said to be used for a contest call and I havent got the chance to see one or try one out but how would it do on the field?

I think it would do great in the field, especially in those situations where you wished you had a little more volume.

I'm going to use mine hunting on land and water , just tone it down some on the water, I've let several people blow this call, and everyone so far says they are going to own one, and most of these guys are hunters not contest callers .

Same here, this call will be on the lanyard come Sept 2. This call is nothing but goose from top to bottom.....and can be toned down to finish or cranked up to grab their attention. No question this call is a great addition to the lanyard!!!!!!!!!! Give it a try and let us know how it goes, you will not be disappointed!

yes, I agree 100% with Jeff, Gary and Nick.....the Showtime is purely goose....
will serve you well in the field or on stage....mine is on my hunting lanyard too....can't wait to try it on some birds come September...
come to think of it...can't wait to try ALL my calls on them buggers come September 1st....
that's ok...I'm gonna let Muntz do all the callin' anyway whenever he gets around to inviting me to that Sept 1st goose/dove hunt....lol
