Identity Theft Protection questions.

Anyone use any type of identity theft protection services such as life lock etc? Wondering if they are all they are cracked up to be and what not.

you can do the same thing for free.....call a credit reporting agency and tell them you want a fraud alert put on your credit report. Thats all that life lock does and they charge you for it. Just my 2 cents

Yeah I was reading about it online and it sounded like they do everything that you can do yourself for free, just wondering if they do a better job at it then you do.
