Goose Loads

What do you guys use.Just wondering.I use 3half's Kentsteel #2 1625fps.Patternmaster choke.

I use 3 1/2" Kent Fasteel BB for geese and Depending on time of season for ducks between the 2 3/4 - 3 1/2 I use 3's. I find the Kent BB is a nice load on geese all year around.

For duck I mainly use 3" #2, For geese 3 1/2" BB, but if we're hunting for ducks and have some geese come in I just use my 3" #2's, they do just fine. I use mainly Winchester Expert Hi-Velocity, they're cheap and you can get proficient with them just fine. I've never felt like spending the extra for Hevi-shot or Bizmuth etc. When you go thru almost a case a season, it's too expensive. Every now and then I catch the Hi-Velocity on sale and buy a case, Last case I bought I got a 6.99 a box. Alot better than spending $20-$25 a box. I haven't ever tried the Kent's, they pretty good? I've shot some Federal's and they were fine, but about a $1 or 2 more per box.

Either Winchester Supreme 3" 1 1/4 oz BBs at 1450 fps or Faststeel 3" 1 1/4 oz BB's at 1425 fps. Both out of my browning gold with patternmaster.

wow....that stuff is suppose to be the premo waterfowl load...but at $25-30 a box....I think I'll stick with just regular steel.

For ducks 3 inch #3's Winchester Expert and for geese 3 1/2 BB for geese the Experts cheap and work great for me out of my Benelli Nova and my Wad Wizard choke.

For ducks I use the old Hevi shot 4 and for geese I use Hevi shot BB and when I dont have any money for the high end loads I like the kent fast steel and man is it fast. and the kent 4 pattern just as good as lead. Those are the loads I use. if the ducks are close I'll just use a sling shot

3 or 3 1/2? if its a 3" then this is what I have found....

Kent Faststeel 1 1/4oz BB's (only the 1 1/4 oz load though the 1 1/8 has too light of a wad and the PM will rip the wad petals of from what I've seen from me shooting my PM out of my Gold)

28 guage Bismuth No Tox 4's for geese. 28 guage Bismuth No Tox 6's for ducks. 3/4 of an ounce of love.

Sounds like u guys rate the kent ammo I use remmington sportsman 4 on ducks and 2 on the geese .I use 3 inch and 23/4 and a cylinder choke and switch to 1/4 on big water were a bit limited with our ammo over here its the best 4 the price I normally use 1000 rounds a year plus another few hundred on rabbits and hares.

im always shooting 3 inch 2's and 3's for ducks, and 3.5 inch BB for geese, all ammo i use is normally dryloks, but buy supremes every now and then

Last Season for ducks I used the Remington Hevi Shot #4 and for geese I used Remington Heavy Shot #2 I really like those loads comming out of my Benelli Super Black Eagle 2. This year they came out with Remington Wingmaster loads havent shot them yet through the benelli but im gonna give them a try.
