What's your favorite goose and duck call

In the Field for Geese, I usually use a cackler barrell with the short Stahl comp insert and this year I added a wood HPH that will be used a lot (it will be a great hunting call). Ducks, wood/poly Legend or Timber Rattler (Smokabola) work well for me, but this year the DMM will be worked in as well, and it will probably work its way up my favorite list.

SMH, DMM probably going to add a wood HPH, and River Bottom Call with the Foiles green guts. I bought the call for the design on the insert, but the gree guts wound pretty good in it.

Going all RNT this year!..........................................NOT ! :twisted: I tell you I absolutely love my new Dead Meat! 8) Definitely will be my most used! For geese I'm still using my SMH, I'll probably need to get a Hedge call, don't know if it will be a MH or SMH. Hunting geese over alot more water this coming season, so need to tone it down a bit! I'd love to have a DMM with a wood barrel, that would be an awesome timber call! Ever since I got my new Dead Meat, I've hardly been blowing my other calls. It's so awesome, I've even thought about using it in my state comp.! :lol: So in closing! If you haven't gotten a Dead Meat yet, or haven't blown on one yet, DO IT! Best move you'll make this year.

Legend double reed I have two .Im saving for a dead meat the will cost about $260 nz dollers as our currency is so poor compared to yours.

For ducks definetely got to say Timber Rattler single reed my go to call, still use the SMM on big water, For geese My SMH still top dog, probably get hammered for this but also won a GK LG and it is a good call, a little dissapointed in myself for getting rid of my market hunter to NWPA Scott, I really missed that call and will probably pick up another. Would also pick up wood HPH but they are on back order and I spent that money on new arrows.

SGTSLTR did that River Bottom Call have a lady on it by chance? :lol: I wanted to get one but never bid. I let my girl know I wanted it too so still hopin for a suprise gift. Let me know if the green guts work in it. But SMH and TR are my choice for field but will definitely be blowing on the DMM a lot too and some on the Showtime in the fields.

The green guts do fit in the call. They are slightly loose. I took and put two pieces of clear scotch tape on the wedge, trimmed nicely covering the whole wedge, now it is a fairly snug fit. I can put a lot of air through it, and the guts don't move. It is very easy to blow, little air, and sounds great. It's the guts that make that deal sound good. The guts that come with the call, IMO are junk. I spent two hrs on them with no avail on good tone or sound.

Yes there is a lady on it. He has another on that says, Goose $lut. Found that out after I got this one.

i just got the DMM and it is awsome, its a single reed and the sound is incredible. Its numbered 0312. My favorite goose call by far is the SMH. no number

I love my acrylic HPH but I also like my saunders traffic. TR for ducks. Still trying to get more duck calls, but I can't get away from buying the goose calls.

My favorite Goose Call is the SMH, but the Market Hunter is a close second. For ducks the new DMM in double reed just can't be beat.
