I hunt a large bay off the spring river in Oklahoma, we hunt with 3 dozen G&H mallard decoys and 2 dozen G&H greenwing teal decoys. I'm wanting to buy canadian floaters to lure passing geese into our spot. There are tons of geese coming into the bay to roost late morning and I'm wanting to get into that action. How many canadians would it take to get them to decoy and how should I set them in my spread? Should I get all rester heads? Thanks for your time.

I would go with a dozen or 2 floaters with about half of them sleepers and rsters and if you have some good sand bars some full body resters, sleeps and some actives and a couple lookers

I would really go with Dakota dekes. They have a bad azz floater coming out now and they will just set everything off.

BF floaters IMO. They are good looking, ride great in rough water and are a good price to boot.

Not trying to jack your reply Doc but I have BFs right now too and the only thing I dont like about them is when your hunting on windy days and the clunking sound them make like pontoons on the water

BF if you want something you can toss around and not worry about, and if you leave your spread out all the time they will be fine. Greenhead Dear also makes an amazing sleeper and rester style floater that imo looks great. you will have to baby them and take them out of the water imo to keep them looking good. i mix half BF and half GHG floaters in my spread and they both look great together. good luck!
