just posted this same thing on the realtree forum, just wanting to see if i could get someones opinion if they have this jacket, getting ready to buy my annual waterfowl stuff from cabelas and im getting a new jacket (max4 of course) but in like 7 years ive gotten 2 of the northern flight jackets from cabelas and they have not steered me wrong been happy, its a complete nylon jacket, but this year i noticed the jacket cabelas has that the top half is nylon and the bottom half is fleece, seems like it would be nice for when you tuck your jacket into your waders, the jacket is the dry plus hybrid wading jacket, i was wondering if you have had it, if its warm enough to handle the coldest weather and does the jacket last, any info would be appreciated

Gees you guys love Drake clothing don't you? Just a few years ago, columbia was THE SH*T and now all of a sudden its Drake. Well, I don't really need a new coat because I have several pretty nice jackets, but I just might have to get a Drake LST wader jacket. My buddy, jclasen, got one a few months ago for the upcoming season and it's awesome!!!

Miller drake is awsome and you def. need one. However I dont know if you need a LST I'd geet a MST thats what I have and I have never been cold yet. It doesnt get cold enough here in my opinion.

i have the cabellas brush buster jacket. the drake jaket must be unbelieveable to be beter than the brush buster, its the warmest coat i own and the most durable by far.

hey killer miller, columbia was never the $h*%; they have always been junk and will continue to be junk. Cabela's does make a nice jacket, but there is no comparision to the drake line of clothing... the only thing drake could do to improve their clothing would be to add gore-tex.

I like the Drake stuff to...except for 1 thing...they don't offer anything in a tall size...at least as far as I know??...I had a Drake fleece pullover that I really liked but couldnt stand the sleeves riding up my arms.

I think the Drake gear manakin they use for sizing is a 3 year veteran crack head who hasnt eaten in 2 weeks. There XL's feel a bit small to me. On there wader jackets, i hate that wetsuit cuff link. Dont get me wrong i like there stuff and have some, it is quality gear. Gore Tex jackets are lighter and with proper layering heat can be retained at the lowest of temps. I have 2 Cabelas Gore Tex jackets, one is going on its sixth year and the other is a brand new wader length i got at the end of last season. I dont think you can wrong with either.
