I would like some feedback between the two guns. Are we really gaining much for the money?

I own a Supernova and have shot a couple SBEII's. Both are great guns, but its all about personal preference. If you like pump guns, the Supernova is a great choice, affordable price, recoil reduction, feeds 3 1/2" shells and is tough as hell. The SBEII is great if you like autoloaders. It offers all of the same features and more. But if it doesn't matter, I wouldn't spend 3x's as much for it! Just my thoughts!

I have a SBEII and love it to death. Glad I got it. I also have a pump gun which is great, but there is something with an autoloader that works for me, when you have a good autoloader its a great gun, but like everyone said, its price point, your looking at two dif. price points with those two guns, whatever is in your bugdet will be fine, its a benelli, you cant go wrong!

I have had some jams and ejection problems with my supernovas, i was wondering if anyone has experienced this with the sbe2s?

Sold my SBEII before the season was over I had so many problems with it.
It needed to be extremely clean to run, quite the opposite of the SBE 1 I am using now.
And I hate pumps, so I don't have anything to say about the pump.

First, Let's assume the gun fits you! ( www.aashooting.com/gun_fit.asp). Obviously operation is different but more importantly; the balance is way forward on the Nova and more in the center on the SBE. If I want to attempt to break clay targets standing flatfooted and calling " pull" I'll take my O/U. When I'm lying down in a blind, shooting through holes in the timber canopy or trying to catch up to a teal that has just buzzed unannounced 4 ft off the blind, I elect the quick balance of the SBE. I first sought out the pump to add a 3.5 to my goose shooting tools but when I handled each, the differences were very apparent, only you can determine if the cost is worth one or the other of these excellent guns.

I recently bought a Supernova but haven't had the chance to do any serious shooting with it as of yet. I put a couple slugs through it the other day while at the cottage and was very impressed. I wasn't even wearing a shirt and the recoil was nothing!
