i got a ts for christmas and have a couple of questions for you guys who have them, first, the insert into the barrell is extremely loose, i used alcohal to clean of the lube that was on the rings in it, that worked somewhat, but is there any other way to make a little tighter?, second, what you guys say into when you call it, it sounds great but i like to here from other snow goose chasers on how they blow their calls

hey takem,
yea, mine is really loose also, from what I understand a lot of them are like that....as far as making sounds into the call..
its basically laughing into the call....ha ha, ha....ha ha, ha
blow right through the call..the harder you blow, the louder it is
and the murmer is.....arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
buy the Calling Geese 2.0 or there's also instruction on the Calling Geese the Strait Meat way VHS....good luck

takem - I would make sure there is some lube on the o-rings or they will dry out and rot. I say HAW fast and hard. We use electronic callers in the spring for snows but I'll tell you what for singles you can't beat a Tundra Saver. :)

I dont have alot of money so I might just order the Tundra Saver insert because it fits right into my SMH mouthpiece. I put iowamigr8tor's insert from his call and it sounds exactly the same. The mouth piece in my smh seem to be identical to the one out of the Tundra Saver. Plus I'm not going to be hunting honkers and snows at the same time anytime soon. Unless I make a trip to Canada sometime.
