Has anyone shot any of the S&W shotguns? I'm not in the market for a new gun its mostly just curiosity on the quality / feel.
Looks like they offer a Max-4 version.......

My pops has an older S&W 12ga pump. It's a heavy gun, but shoots great.
I'm sure they are considerably lighter now than what they were then.

Tested one at a shot show. IMO one of the best bang for your buck shotguns. I put through about 2 boxes of 3" #4's at the clay range. Not a single problem...I would get one, if the wife didn't just buy a new car.

lizard thanks for the info. I'll have to keep an eye out for one of these guns so I can try one. I'm a ways away from a new gun myself but I've always been a fan of S&W and was just curious if they had a chance in the shotgun market.
