I am not young, have a long shaft go-devil, getting tired of steering it. Is there a way to trim so as to take stress off the steering handle? It pulls to side, I have to stand up and brace myself to keep it from turning the boat to port side.

Is it pull to one side or popping up out the water?
#1 is your skeg bent? if not put a bend at the back of the skeg to the right about 2" from the end and then run it and adjust as needed ,i.e. making your motor track properly ,just like an out board your adjusting for prop thrust if it steers left bend right and vice versa
