Contacting land owners?

Recently I have found some areas I would like to scout for ducks and geese off the Google earth web site. Anyone have any advice on how I can find contact info. for the land owners to get permission? I have driven to the areas and have found no homes or addresses.

In indiana we have platt books we can look at! I'm not sure if arkansas has the same deal.. I do the exact same thing with google earth here also...

I use platt books here to and I will also use the county web site has a property search feature that has worked pretty good for me as well.

here we go to the town hall and look at the tax maps they tell everything person name and adress

plus 1 on the tax plats. Here in MS we do that alot for the snow geese and if we find a flooded field with food and birds, we try to mark it on our gps then contact the county for info on it. some ppl are nice, some aren't so... but its always worth a try
