acylic finishing

hey guys im a machinist and i just made a goose call. my question is how do you make the acrylic shiny and smooth. some one said they use a flame while turning it on a lathe. dont worry im no threat to foiles. i just want a nice looking call. any tips would be appreicaited.

Flame to the inside, and polish the outside.
