teal question

will teal come to my mallard decoys or should i buy some teal decoys before the early season starts?

Teal love just about anything, I find they really love my goose floaters.

Wouldn't hurt to add some teal dekes though if you kill a lot of them.

I normally run about three dozen hen mallard decoys around home. When we go out of town we throw teal decoys mixed with hen mallards and gaddy blocks. Teal fly fast and they fly early. Around here if you havent shot them in the first half hour you arent going to. On the river I think they land more to the ripples behind a decoy than the color on its back.

we only use our mallard and black duck decoys and the teal come in screamin. if your lookin for an excuse to buy more decoys then by all means empty your wallet. a guy can never have to much gear!! :lol: :lol:

yeah just using mallard dekes will work and a mojo as long as ur in the spot they will come

try the new mojo teal... just got one... can't wait to try it in another two weeks
