Great little call. You won't hail the migrators down with this one. It is more suited for close in work and quiet days. Great low end.

the other day when you were blowing it, that was probably the quietest quacking ive heard from any call

finishing call, or windless days. i would say medium to soft quack, with a non traveling ring to it! Worth buying!

i have been running a rnt. mvp for those loud windy days and a self modified rnt short barrel for the close in stuff ( until i bought my dmm that is). Although the rnts are great calls and i like them i seem to grab my foiles calls first. this call seems to be what im looking for.

It's a awesome call. Very ducky, great bottom end. Great meat call and will get the job done in either double or single reed.

Al has one and it's a sick call. I just recently got a Strait Suzy from Jeff and it is an awesone call. It is basically the same call as the Strait Timber, except the SS's bore is larger making it louder than the Strait Timber....but trust me the Strait Suzy has plenty of low duck in it. I can't decide whether I'm going to blow my DMM or my SS in the upcoming meat duck calling contests.
