1st- Intermediate Goose
1st- 2-man goose w/ Mike Emmons
4th- 2-man duck w/ Jason Muntz (thanks to the bullet draw in the 3rd round which cost us from a clean sweep!! :) )

also....

Mike Emmons wins the Novice Goose

Cody Stoner also places 2nd in the Novice and Intermediate goose contests.

Good job boys. Me, kingkilla, and iwoamigr8tor were at the Sportsman's Warehouse in Ankeny today for Waterfowl Weekend. I'm kinda disappointed because it said on the radio yesterday there were going to be calling contests and there wasn't. Also, no Foiles boys there. Tons of other call companies had calls set up: -Tim Grounds with his calls (what a privelage to listen to him call) -Some guy for Calef calls and Bigfoot -Clay Hudnall and Dwayne Knight with Zink Calls and Avery (they put on a hell of a goose hunting seminar! :D ) -Lynch Mob, Hardcore, and GHG all had stuff set up. I'm not a big fan of hardcore's but the one of the guys who started them was there and me and kingkilla talked to him for a while, real nice guy. He's outta Idaho I didnt get his name

I was at the contest also, and in the novice goose the best caller got cut after the first round. Did anyone else see that?

no..I would have to disagree with you there...Mike Emmons was hands down the best caller in that deal..I didn't even think there was anyone close who could match his loudness..cadence..and overall routine!

Good job guys! Team Strait Meat has something big going. Between Cody, Mike, "Lil Sean"....lol....sorry Sean.....I'm thinking that the contest scene is going to be all Foiles for quite along time.

Mike was real good but i think that kid with the mpw shirt was just as loud and a good routine. Just my opinion he should have atleast made it past the first round
