Well let me first say I am a idiot. I have had this call on my shelf for a few months and it has fallen off several times. Well it fell off one too many times. When it hit the floor about an inch of the outside of the call where you put your lips broke off. The interior is still whole if that makes sense. It also still blows fine but it is a little uncomforatable on the lips. Is there anything I can put on it to keep it from cracking or breaking more? Definitely a lesson hard learned. I definitely feel like a putz!!

Send it into the shop. They will take care of it.

I'm assuming that is what they will do at the shop. I will ask when I order my Showtime tomorrow. Thank you!

The only thing I can think of is a polyester exterior wood filler, we use it every now and then to repair exterior wood door frames, etc. Almost like bondo for wood, then shave it down to match the contour of the call, but I would wonder if it would hold for a long period of time, and if it would alter the sound of the call. Just an idea, but probably best bet to get a new barrel. Good luck.

Pork chop, comfy lips are very important. I hope you ordered a new barrel. I also hope you ordered your showtime goose call because you'll really enjoy having this call; it's a hot one! Good hunts to ya! :)

Well it is funny or maybe not but I did order the showtime. The McArthur brothers had 3 at the Fargo show. I was going to buy one but I prefer to do business with the shop. I knew when I left that I should have bought one there and it was driving me nuts all week so when I orderred mine I was so excited I forgot all about my diamond wood one. Anyway I am just waiting for it to get here so I can start practicing and get my sounds down and my confidence up to hit the stage.
