Illinois DNR Announces Waterfowl Season Dates

I've been on their website every day and they finally announced it:

DUCKS:

North Zone: Oct. 21 - Dec. 19

Central Zone: Oct. 28 - Dec. 26

South Zone: Nov. 23 - Jan. 21

The bag limit is the same as last year except for a full 60-day season for canvasbacks.

CANADA GEESE:

North Zone: Oct. 21 - Nov. 12 & Nov. 20 - Jan. 14

Central Zone: Oct. 28 - Nov. 5 & Nov.23 - Jan. 31

South Zone (including Alexander, Jackson, Union and Williamson Counties): Nov. 23 - Nov. 26 & Dec. 10 - Jan. 31

**Canada goose seasons will NOT be closed early in any zones in IL because quotas, quota zones, Canada goose hunting permits and goose phone-in requirements have been eliminated.
