Geese in our face

I took my dad out hunting today we had a flock of about 40-50 geese come in and just before I sat up to start blasten he said wait lets see if we can get them to land , Well just about 6-8 birds landed and the other one kept circling over our layout blinds. I got an ichy trigger finger and the next time them came around we let them have it got 3 that were flying past got 3 more that lifted off the ground. My dad loved it he talked about it all morning long.

I take it you guys have birds down home??? We have nothing up here :wink: ...not to mention, season is out :x :x :x We have a couple spots just itching for January 16th though!!!

Congratulations JPS, glad you and your dad had a good time.
I am hoping to get my dad out to go down to southern Illinois with me for a few days durring the next couple weeks, hopefully we will get some birds to show up down their.

A triple! Man thats awesome. Ithink I tripled during our early Special Septembere goose hunt where the limit was 3 but one of my buddy's claimed the first one I shot. So im not for sure if I did or not. But I did triple on snow geese last spring and woulda killed more if I had a extension tube for my SBE. Ithink I'm gonna get one this year.
