I have a SMH with the number 1499 and it has never had the 'green guts'. Are the 'green guts' something new and should I change my SMH over to 'green guts'?

What color guts are they? Grey?

Green guts are pretty much all we ever put in SMH's...someone may have put some grey's in by accident.

Let me know. I run greens in everything but have used the grey too.

I have a clear sound board and grey wedge. Does that help?

I bought it at Cabela's back in late 1999 or early 2000. I know when I called yesterday to get some help with tuning it, I had them confused as to which guts I had.

Don't do it Twinsdad! He's trying to pull a fast one on you, those guts you described are very valuable, collector's item. I think he just wants to add it to his collection! :(

Yea, you had me thinkin'!!! LOL It sounds good, but I jacked with the reed and now it sounds mmmm OK, the more I jack with it the better it sounds, but it still sticks on some of the higher notes and/or with a lot of air. It also has a buzz in it. Sooo, I might give up and ship it off. I haven't hunted geese for 5 years and trying to get back up and running.
