start looking some things up on her and I think a lot of you might not be so gung ho about her anymore...as mentioned before on another thread she has affiliations with a policical party that wanted Alaska to leave the United States and her husband is in the oil business. So those oil cuts, I'm guessing wont happen, drilling in ANWR is more likely to happen with Republicans in office and tax cuts will never happen either...but on the other side, obama wants all guns to go so i dont know who the hell to vote for.

I disagree with the part about McCain being a independent republican. In 2000 he was a very independent republican but to have a chance he had to appeal a lot more to the religous so he has flipped on so many things he believed in in 2000 i find it hard to vote for him.

On a different note, all of these promises hes giving out dont have much of a chance with the dems controlling the house and the senate.

Im not going to tell anyone what side im on because either way the only thing you could do is make enemys... Ive been big into politics since i was 10 years old. I watch all the debates, I do tons of research, and I have voted for different parties than the one i feel most affiliated with many times. So many people arent open minded enough to take a look at what each canidate has to offer. I hear one side of the race from my father who holds an elected position in my area and was also elected as a delegate that went to the national convention, but in no way does anyone other than the canidates, inspire me to vote. So, in conclusion to why i even wrote this... i just want to tell everyone to really look into each canidate and choose why you like and dislike each one and choose who fits your personal standards. Too many people are democrats or republicans just because their parents, spouse, friends, etc. are. Who cares about the party, there's a million more important things to look into. Every vote counts, and you cant complain about your country unless you vote. So i hope everyone who's voiced an opinion on here is registered to vote... if not, you dont count for anything!

have to agree....the comment was a little extreme but point taken. United States politics and policies dont stop at our borders. For example we currently occupy two forgein countries and brought in multiple others including Canada to help us fight. Another point..... Canada is the largest trading partner of goods w/ the United States....not China. Needless to say our economies and politics are linked.

If you don't think that most of the world hates everything about us your sniffing too much glue.

Yeah but you also have to think about our role in the world as a super power... not only do we do try and do the right thing for america but unfortunately its our job to along with a couple others to look at whats right and wrong. If iraq (whos country were killing their own people to experiment with deadly poisons and destructive weapons) had nuclear force to use then whos to say they have morals good enough not to devistate the whole world! sure ... someone else would probably bomb the piss out of them after a while too but thenit really would be WW3!!!! Ok one more question. Since Mccain says were staying in Iraq, can anyone define for me how we are to "win this war"? Are we going to spend 10 billion a month in Iraq until every Muslim whos every thought about strapping a bomb to himself comes walking up to us with a white flag and says we quit?
