Hey all, I was in the field with IAwaterfowler88, he was blowing on my new Strait Meat Honker that I bought from Killer Miller, and said it took quite a bit more air to blow then his. If I sent it into foiles could they retune it so it doesnt take as much air? The barrel is Green Diamondwood, and the insert is black Acrlyic. What else do they do when you send them in? He said they put new guts in, and poilsh the call/band!
thanks for the help boys

I am sure they can tune it to your liking, not sure if they would replace the guts, the morethey get worn in the better they sound, not sure if they polish out the "battle scars" from theband or not.
I would call the shop and ask.

If you send in the call, the boys at the shop will retune it however you would like. They will replace the guts and the reed, unless you specify that you do not want the guts replaced. Worn-in guts are the way to go...so if I were you, I would specifically request that your guts not be replaced.
They will also polish up the acrylic and the band before they send it back out.
Just put everything in a letter, describing exactly what you want done with the call and the boys at the shop will take care of ya!!!

Just for the record boys, I didnt sell Jclasen MY CALL. I would never sell mine. My uncle bought a used one from someone and he already had one so I sold it to Jordan. Wouldnt trade my call for a brand new one.
