Can Some one please HELP, Had a peice of cattail or dirt in my SMH this morning and was fumbling to get it out the reed and tone board pushed in and now I cannot get it tunned or sound like it did, I hope I didnt break anything, the tone board is 2 peices and then the reed, Is there an address where I can send this call to Immeditaely and have it fixed or someone I can talk to, My Phone # is 715-432-8744, thanks, it happened right at shooting time this morning, lucky I had a Meat Grinder on my landyard, we had a good morning but I want to get my SHM back working before the early season closes, Thanks for any info anyone can give.

They re-tune all calls and send them out BEFORE any new orders are sent out! Or just keep messing with it until you get it to where you like it. Use your Meatgrinder as an example as to how your reed is supposed to be.

Thanks for all the help, HoosierHunter, that PM was very informative, however im still getting a crow call, I will just send the call to the address IOWAMIGR8TOR provided, I have another SMH being shipped to me as I type so Ill have one to use in the mean time.

Sounds like the tip of your reed is not clearing the end of the tone board channel, make sure that tip can just be pushed down into the tone channel just barely clearing, but make sure that tip isn't hitting at all, I'm sure it will take care of it. Good luck.
