Teal Season

Who all's teal season starts tommorrrow? Ours does my dad and i will be going, who else? I dont know how many teal are in the area but ill give it a try. Good luck to everyone else.

we dont have a teal season in iowa. we have to wait till the 23rd to start shootin duxs. kind suxs

Illinois teal season starts tomorrow. I am at my dad's and going after them tomorrow. SHould kill honkers too becasue all of the boys on the Iowa side shooting should bring them across the channel to us and I will deceive them with my SMH.

speaking of teal, today we were out goose hunting and this morning we had three blue wings decoy of our geese and we just sat back and watched, and i completely forgot that the season opened today, so i lucked out on some teal this morning, but got our limit of geese

We had a great morning. We didnt limit out but today was my 7month yellow lab's first hunt. She brought back all of them. The first duck we shot she didnt know what to do but we kept on tellin her to bring it here and she did. We wounded a couple others that we may not have found if it wasnt for her. By her last retreive she was doin it like she had a couple seasons under her belt. All in all it was a great hunt.

got lucky and work ended early last night so i got to go out and hunt and oh man what a morning. teal where everywhere as they always are before shooting time. well shooting time rolled around and it was game on. between me and my buddy we only killed 4 but should have got a lot more. my buddies gun kept jammin cause he hasnt cleaned it in forever. i saw today the first hand effects of a patternmaster and im a firm beleiver in them now. i busted the heck out of a teal with 3 inch 4 shot out of my superx2. had 3 honkers come in but luckily the blind beside us sky busted and jacked that up for us. but i will give the guy credit he made a hell of a shot on a honker that was that high up. hopefully ill be able to get back out next weekend. i couldnt even sleep last night i was so ready to go now im dyin even more to go :D

Up here in Northern Wisconsin no early teal season the duck opener is on the 23 I've been seing tons of teal but the only problem is the last two nights its been like 30 to 40 degrees up here which I'm sure will push the majority of teal south this happens to us every year it sucks big time! :(
