Wisconsin limit this morning!

Yesterday I was out scouting ducks because our WWA chapter is holding a youth waterfowl hunt next weekend and came across about 50 local geese. Set up there this morning and two family groups and five geese later limited out by 8:30 am STRAIT MEAT.

congrats on the limit. i think this cold weather is bringing alot of migrators to our area of wisconsin. this morning 3 of my buddies shot their limit in 15 minutes. they said there was a ton of birds in the air. unfortunatly i wasnt able to go this morning and im not very happy about it. oh well. we have permission on three fields for tomorrow,and they all have about 200 to 300 birds in them. tomorrow morning should be stellar.

Yeah definetely migrators coming down and heading your direction. I saw maybe half dozen high flying flocks of migrators. For me hunting water with my seven floater decoys don't have much chance on those big flocks. Good luck tommorrow.

Keep pushin those birds fellas. The hunting around here isnt worth a sh%t just alot of shootin the first week of locals but after the first week they wisen up and stay in the park and eat bread from the kids. Makes me mad. Anways congrats on the excellent hunt this morning and good luck in the morning.

I like the idea of migrators all our birds are resedents so they end up being hunted for 3 months thats for ducks and 11 months for the canadas .Hunting the same birds over and over and you see how clever they are
