When is your goose cooked? I hate over cooked meat, be it deer, elk or goose, but am concerned about the safety of eating goose breast that is still a pink inside and the juices not really clear. Does goose have to be cooked "done" through like chicken? Jim

Heck of a lot depends on how they were treated prior to getting them to the oven or grill..
I never stop at rare.. but Pink ..Hot and pink ... not red , still has me kickin at normal speed.

Duckpoor, oh, I do agree! I am a nut on taking care of my game once harvested. On the HOT Sept opener, we gutted, then filled the gut cavity with ice to keep our geese meat cool. I am just as picky with the deer I shoot. Jim
