I was south of Fargo north of Pipestone on the dakota border and it was great duck hunting for the opening weekend. I have been hunting the area for 13 years and I had one of the best opening weekends I have had in at least 10 of those if not the best. Good mixed bag pintails teal green and blue wings,ringbills,mallards,woodies.I also seen reheads and lesser canadas and local greaters. All I could think was the dakotas must be dry! How did you all do?

I hunted near Windom and it was the first year we didnt limit out in like an hour, we didnt even limit out at all. Alot of birds just nothin decoying. The geese were amazing tho, lots and well decoying. Me and a buddy has 100+ honkers coming in, like a dumbass i was out in the middle of the slough grabbin a duck and the geese still poured in on top of me, I dropped one(only cause I has 1 shell with me :evil:) Field hunted next hunts and limited out in like 30minutes, 5 guys 10 geese both days.

I hunt Bellingham, Its sick all year long. There is always tons of birds. Western MN is on fire!
