Fellas,

Here are a couple pics from our hunt Saturday. So far this season, we have been struggling to blend our blinds into the field, because there is a lot of green under seed. So, we stripped our blinds and went all green. Had birds in our face all morning. 3 limits by 9:00 am...with a little better shootin' it would have been earlier...still can't complain.

Hey, looks like a great hunt man. You guy's have many migrator's flyin up your way. How's the snow goose season up your way or do you have one or when is it ?

It hasn't been too cold yet to really force the birds to start moving, but there are a lot more birds around here now than say early season in September. So I guess they are moving...I expect a lot more to eventually move in.

There are no snow geese in our area. You get a few that come through every now and then with a flock of Canadas. I know of 2 snow geese shot around here this year...but that is usually it, one or two a season in my neck of the woods. Shooting a snow goose around here is as rare as getting a banded bird. But, we did manage to get a goose and duck band so far this year, so ya never know.
