well, I went out to the spot I hunted yesturday (on public land) with high hopes. I had been watching duck move from the truck for about 30 minutes be fore I went out so I was excited.

While i was setting up decoys I noticed 2 guys walking across the pasture behind me. They looked to be upland bird hunting so I paid no mind. they had a dog that seemed to be a mutt of some sort. I went along my way setting up dekes.

20 minutes later I am sitting in the cattails when I see a group of teal in the distance. I start some light calling. They come right in. they flew directly over me then started thier circle back all the while dropping in altitude. about 80 yards out and 100 yards high the damn fools thet were walking across the field open up on them. SKYBUSTING is my pet peeve.

unknown to me these idiots were not upland bird hunting but DUCK hunting. No decoys, no camo from the waist down, a mutt dog they kept yelling at, and the WORST callers EVER!!!

for the rest of the afternoon they either skybusted every group working my dekes or scared them away with a barrage of off tune calls intermitten with the worst attempt at feeding chuckles I have ever heard.

To all you who dont know.....

DO NOT come out duck hunting if you plan on doing the following...
set up over other peoples decoys,
call in the face of ducks that are on their way in,
yell at your untrained dog while ducks are working,
talk really loud and laugh your ass off while ducks are working,
SKYBUST

I had to really hold myself back. I almost shot some warning shots in thier direction, but they were so close I might have killed them.

I have no remorse for Dumb ass people.

Welcome to UTAH!!!

That is funny because you are the 3rd person to tell me that up here. I guess you have a bunch of these fools running around.

I hate to say it but if people like that showed up in the area we hunt along the Mississippi River in Illinois they would be run off or come up missing.

Dont ge me wrong I love it when new people get into waterfowling, I think you just cant fix stupid.....
