Out of my 20 guage I shoot a 3 in 4 shot on ducks and geese.
On my 12 guage I dont know what inch size and shot size to shoot at geese.
Is the load i am shooting out of my 20 guage okay.
Just wondering what type you guys shot and if they have given you any problems.

well personally i think thats a little light on geese but whatever works for ya and for 12 gauge i shoots 2's at everything for around half the season then i move up to bbb's for geese. i also shoot 3 1/2's not that its necessary just what i prefer. and i shoot faststeel and have good luck with that might try xpert out tho just for the price

i ask this of everyone who asks a question like this...how far do you want to shoot em at? if your over decoys under 40 yards (how i shoot em) 2-3/4" or 3" 2,3, or 4 shot works great...you only need huge shot and extra tight chokes if you wanna shoot further than that

Cant go wrong with #2s...I prefer #4 lead myself. I grew up shooting lead. In steel you need to step up 2 shot sizes.

Usually I use 3" 2's which is a pretty versatile shell. When I went tur hunting in Newfoundland we were aloud to use lead. Couldn't get over how lead takes down birds. Kent Traditional Upland #4's

I shoot 3 inch 3 shot of Black Cloud for Ducks and 3 1/2 BB Kent for geese, if your gun doesnt shoot 3 1/2 i recoment shooting Black Cloud BB or winchester Supreme BB for geese

For the 20, I dont know if you can get much more payload than 1 1/8 @ #2
But I would rather shoot those than #4's..In a 12 I shoot 1's or 2's at early season geese, and BB at late season. However when I could afford them, I would shoot Tungsten Matrix # 2's @ 3 1/2" with a payload of 1 3/4 oz. for geese out of my 12, and crushed em!
