Guys,
Whats the minimum amount of duck decoys that I can get away with since I will be running a mojo and still get birds? :D

I feel like most guys will tell you that there isn't a minimum. Just go out there and experiment. The past couple of days, I've only been putting out 3 wood duck decoys and a mojo and I've been killing birds.

We run about 40 ducks and 20 geese most the time. But some will say less and some will say more. Its just what works in your area

I have killed ducks over a dozen, if you are in the right spot, there is no need for a monster spread. I think that ducks get used to seeing big spreads of bad decoys and bad calling. I try to keep it simple and do as best I can on the call.

we run 2.5 dozen mix with mallards, teal, and woodies. we also run 2 mojos. i guess it really depends where your hunting and the number of birds your seeing

last 2 times I went on public land I used 6 then 9 decoys. Everyone else in that area uses the same spread. 2 dozen ducks, a dozen geese. I wanted to switch it up. It worked!
I usally use 2 and a half dozen.

really depends on the time of the year and the type of ducks your targeting, Early in the year we tend to run alot more decoys and as the year progresses we usually scale it down, i've gone after black ducks using only one decoy and absolutly hammered them gotta experiment and figure out what works
