Hey boys, just curious who is ready to kill some ducks?!?!?! I already shot some teal last weekend during the Illinios opener (limits Saturday and Sunday :D ), but I'm ready for the Iowa opener this weekend. Headed to Ft. Madison on the mighty miss to whack 'em and stack 'em with my dad and uncle. Uncle says there are mallards and pintails literally by the thousands!!! :D :D :D Shooting 6 guys and it still might be a quick shoot, hopefully not too quick. I know it went too quick last year, done with 4 man limit in 20 minutes! Any other states open their duck seasons this weekend? Post pics when you get 'em.

Our early teal opens on the 21st. Unfortunately I'll miss it due to a medical/surgical procedure. I'll be out of commission for the entire weekend. Bummer!
This weekend will be heaven for me, Duck season and Archery deer both open saturday!!

Northern Wisconsin opener this weekend, I can't wait took two kids out last weekend for the youth hunt they go six mallrds and five teal came one away from a limit. They had plenty of opportunities at teal, mallards and woodies they shot 75 shells. Had a flock of 70 - 80 mallards land and they only got one oh well they had fun, I think there shooting was affected because they had a hard time picking out the drake mallards because of the early season plummage. Nonetheless there hooked duck hunters for life, I could tell by the smiles. Anybody tell me where they usually host their pics so I can post some on this forum.
Thanks Jason

Irish 77, I use photobucket.com to host my pics, go to the Indiana '06-'07 hunting season thread, I just posted up how to post pics on here. Good luck and looking forward to your pics. We have a month till we can hunt some ducks, and then it's only for 3 or 4 days, and then it's another month till our full season comes in till end of Jan. sucks! I'm ready to shoot some right now! Early goose season here was pretty slow! Not enough crops down or places to go, most the birds stayed in city limits in grass fields and neighborhoods.

Wow!! About 10 hours to legal shooting time on Iowa ducks!! Oh yeah. Im working until midnight and then driving 3 hours to get to my dad's. Probably just go to the boat ramp and rig up a few decoys and maybe sleep a hour or two. My uncle and dad should be arriving around 5:30. I probably won't be able to sleep.
