I think it comes down to 2, either a pattern master or a wad wizard.

I would suggest a PatternMaster they are flat out awsome. Ive heard alot of wad wizard but have never seen one. I also have heard that the Kicks High Flyers are pretty sweet. I shoot an Extended Patternmaster through my Benelli SBE2 and it produces an awsome pattern.

Bought a Light modified Briley tube last year before any seasons were open. The only time during the fall that it came out of my barrel was to clean my SBE. Bought a regular Patternmaster last year and am going to start shooting it after this first duck opener and after the second duck opener. A PM will basically throw pattern comparable to a factory full choke, but Patternmasters, Wad Wizards and Kicks are all made specifically for throwing large hard pellets (steel T's through I would say #4's). And with a PM, you will find that if you pattern it, you will have very few stray off-target pellets like you would have alot with a factory full. If you're shooting birds close, I like the Briley light modified, but when the birds start to get skitish and grow their heavy flight feathers, a tighter denser pattern will be the deal.

I think Killer Miller ment to say that the Light Mod throws a pattern like a regular choke.
The Pattern Master, and all the others that have been named are known as "wad catcher" tubes. They have little studs in the choke that actually "catch" the wad and slow it down a millasecond allowing your shot to exit from the wad somewhat and in a "disc" like shape instead of a cone of shot or string of shot from a regular choke. Therefore there are less flyers in a disc of shot, than a string allowing for a clean kill usually or a clean miss. There isnt a whole lot of cripples when you learn how to shoot these chokes (they are different so go out and practice with them), and when there is, you can make very quick work of them on the water :) .
Early season I will be shooting a regular mod choke. Reasons being that teal and woodies are very fast and with a small shot disc out of the patternmaster you have to be DEAD on or you miss. With those little rockets going in and out of trees and dacing and turning I would rather shoot a mod to allow a little more area of shot. The PM is EXCELLENT when it comes to late birds that are right in your face or out a little ways because of the density of the pattern is amazing. With geese or mallards right in your face they are very slow moving and are very big easy high % targets. Also teal with a PM isn't a good combo, unless you like a lot of pillows :)
PM says they are best with size 2 shot and larger, but I have shot Supreme 3" 4s with AMAZING patterns. In the late season, 4's are my clean up load for cripples, great pattern and a TON of pellets (something like an adverage of 280 pellets per shell compaired to 90 for a BB round)
In a 22" circle with a Browning Gold 3" with a PM and 1 1/4 oz of Supreme BB's I had patterns like this. (Normal pattern would be 30" but I only had the paper for a 22" circle)
25 yards: 88 of 90 in the 22" circle
35 yards: 82 of 90 in the 22" circle
45 yards: 83 of 90 in the 22" circle
55 yards: 75 of 90 in the 22" circle
