do you think haveing bright colored calls effects your hunting...do birds see your chartruese calls?...we all wear camo and some paint their face but have bright colored calls...does that give us away and do birds see the color?

Next thing you know you will think bands are shiny and may scare them and are a bad idea.

I have stood on a fence line in a field just wearing camo and my calls and ducks didnt seem to mind. The ducks would try to land 15 feet away from me and they never seemed to care until i killed em! I have also heard people say they will not buy bright colored calls because they give off UV shine and they ducks and geese can see it. personally i think it is a load of crap. you should be fine, if you notice birds flaring you can always get a call coozy or something.

Doubt it, half the time your hand(s) cover the call anyhow. Just like a bright colored lanyard, half of its covered under your collar.

I think the color doesnt matter if they are that close they should be dead!!!

Movement is what messes you up.

I hope loud colors don't play a huge role in effective goose hunting. I'm a sucker for chartreuse and bass boat red and just about any color that's bright and slightly obnoxious.

Think of this...Take a look at the color of all the leaves that are changing,
Yellow, Red, Orange..and all the others. I dont think that the color of a call matters, it's more movement that matters I think.

If you're secreted well inside some type of blind, I don't think it's a problem. If you're out in the open, or protruding from your blind and you have a bright rainbow around your neck, then maybe...

I think the color doesnt matter if they are that close they should be dead.I would have to agree with that. Moving your hands around while calling if you are out in the open would be more of a give away.
