Any of you guys live close to there? I just found out this afternoon that I will be headed there this summer more than likely to play baseball for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. They are a part of the Northwoods League which is compiled of teams across Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Canada and thought to be the second best summer league in the country behind the Cape Cod league (which you'll only get into if your projected top 10 rounds in the draft). I'll be up there the end of May through Middle August playing 70 games during that time, so I was wondering what the weather was like, anything to do around there, and maybe if I could meet up with some of ya canada guys and bs a little...im gonna be a long ass way from home, so I gotta find something to do when I'm not at the field.
Thanks guys.

Thunder Bay is a beautiful place, lots of fishing, and great duck hunting (even though you won't be there for that) I don't know if you'd find much people on here from Northern Ontario, but it is a major hunting/fishing area. You'll have a great time there for sure, It's about a 20 hour drive for me to get there (it's on the other side of the province), but you'll meet some fisherman/hunters for sure. Enjoy it

It's awsome up there. I use to spend my summers there when I lived in Sault St Marie and Wawa. Hunting is good if you can find someone to hunt with. some spots the CO's and OPP won't go there because it's too dangerous. I hope your use to really deep water fishing for Lakers and walleye. Amazing Bass fishing there also
