Whats up with the geese

I was just wondering if any has been hunting lately I haven't been out for a week and a half . I've been deer hunting and was just wondering what the geese are up too.

Well I see that you're from Pennsylvania and im from Iowa but I'll tell you what I've observed. There were thousands of honkers around about a week ago. It got really cold and has been for about a week now. It was like they just dissappeared about mid week last week. Theres hardly any open water ( just a few miles below the Saylorville Spillway on the Des Moines River. Couple hundred on the river but thats it right now. Its been in the single digits and teens with no wind for a week. Water freezes up real easy when its cold like that and no wind.

Saw a bunch of Geese and ducks poring into a 50 ayrd by 50 yard pothole that was still open right next to a walmart lol...go figures( city limits) Today i saw a dozen honkers, and 200 mallards cupping into a cornfield...thats all here in Minnesota

not seeing to many around the swamp, cambridge springs had alot last week, i havent been out to the pymatning area lately, been deer hunting also no luck there havent seen a legal buck yet

I am in the same area as Killer Miller - everything is froze up, its just straight up COLD here in iowa. All ice and no open water - although this mourning I did see a bunch of geese pouring into a filed near my house. Haven't seen much besides that though
