I think the problem exists anywhere on the East coast, maybe even out West too. Where I'm from, farmland is being bought up for development at an alarming rate. The place I leased two years ago was a great spot for ducks. The farm it is on was sold for a 250+ house development, so I lost it. Really frustrating. Won't be long before you'll have to go to a commercial preserve to hunt.

yeah i know what you mean, i have private spots that i hunt normally i have lost some to rich people or it is becoming a housing development, and when i go hunt public blinds here in town, when im not hunting my own, ive noticed that this rich/city people i call em come into hunt these places they seem to not have the slightest clue at what they are doing, and they have ruined hunts for me and my guys along with other people, thats why i try and stay away from these people as much as possible

I hope I do not offend anyone who is having trouble finding spots but I have only found it hard to find early season spots. Not knowing when the hay is coming out etc.

How many fields did you offer to pick rocks out of this spring?

Do you take no for a answer? We always go back at least 5 times to any spot we want to hunt.

You need to be different then the others who show up in fall and ask.

It is a year round deal getting permission.

My son will be picking apples tonight for the farmer in one spot we hunt.

I plan on spending about equal time helping as hunting. No one around here even try to help the farmer that much and the farmers that give permission to everyone is not worth hunting on to many people and problems.

yea housing developments here in delaware are being built like ducks are being made. a crazy rate. im lucky that i found a property for free that the farmer said he will never sell for any amount of money because he just loves to farm and deer hunt. so i got lucky. hope the best for u guys.
