wanted new goose call

i hunt a lot of big open water during the season for ducks and geese. im looking for a nice sounding goose call maybe one that is quiter than other goose calls. right now im using my smh and that sounds alright im just wondering if foiles makes a goose call that is quiter, cuz i get a lot of echos from when i use my smh goose call on water.

Try an all wood one. That makes the call a lot mellower.

Flamed Hedge HPH is one hell of a goose call over water expecially.

I think so, for me its alot quicker then the SMH and yet it can really low and goosey at the same time. Easily my favorite Foiles call.

Agreed, the HPH is a bit quieter than the SMH. If you want to step it down a little thats what I would go with. It sounds great.
