Dont know why but Ive noticed a sound change in the foiles meat grinder call over the year, I bought 2 meat grinders last year and I peronally can make my sounds sound better then when I blow a SMH, Dont know why but thats they way it is, so I sold my SMH and bought two more meatgrinders, I have a history of losing calls and dropping them in water :? and the two I bought sound nothing compared to the ones I bought last year, there are like really high pitched and dont have a deep goosey sounds, im getting like speck/snow geese honks out of the calls, but the ones last year were prefect right out of the package, does anyone know if they made a change to the call in material, reed, or anything?

To my knowledge Adam...nothing has been changed in the call itself in terms of materials, guts, reeds, etc. My guess is that the person tuning the calls (could be one of many) tuned them a bit higher than you are used to. You can get low, mean, and nasty on a Grinder if it is tuned up that way.

If you need them retuned...ship'em back to the shop with a note requesting they be retuned - jut make sure you include how you want them tuned and where to ship them back to. Call the shop and talk to either Jennifer or Lisa and they will walk you through the process!!!!
