Bought the new Extrema 2 with kick off last night.

Being one of those geeks who actually reads the entire manual I found it interesting that one of the reasons it fits so nice is the stock is offset.

I like a larger drop on my stock then most so I installed the bigger drop and learned that these guns are made with a crooked stock. For right handers this makes the stock move the right so you can see down the barrel easier and for leftys you can flip the part over and offset the stock to the left.

Any extrema 2 owners becareful when tightening the stock bolt. The directions tell you to use a torch wrench for good reason 13 foot pounds on a 13 mm bolt is very very light. Do not over tighten.

I have a SBE and it does not have this option. In looking at the bolt it is just like my SBE. Seems like they have combined a SBE with a extrema.

Do the new SBE 2's have this option?

It is just like trap shooters. Those guns are custom and the stocks on those guns are twisted to fit right or left handed.

The SBE2's are designed to fit the shoulder pocket of the handedness shooter. The Left Handed version is designed for a left handed shooter. The best way to see this is to look at a shoulder pad on both models. Al they come with a shim kit to adjust drop and cast to make it feel more custom.

I know about the butt pad but on the Extrema the whole stock is shifted to the right 8)

Is the whole stock adjustable on a SBE2? Meaning right to left and up and down, I know it is Up and down but I did not know if is also adjustable left to right.

Thanks

You can adjust the cast on the stock.

You can adjust the cast on the stock.

Does cast mean left to right?

Drop means up and down correct?

Thanks

SX (the italian contraction of the word "sinistra", or left) identifies cast "on", or a setting for Left Handed. DX (the italian contraction for the word "Destra", or right) identifies cast "off" or a setting for Right Handed.

Think there is cast on and cast off but not sure what is what.
