minnesota opener

how did every budy in minnesota do.we knocked two ducks down but only got one of them.lots of geese on walnut.

We had and excellent hunt up here in NW MN 4 of us got 7 geese and 13 ducks mix of mallards, teal, wood duck. We seen in ponds lots of mallards seen some snow geese fly over high tons of Geese I think it's off to a good start. The morning should be fun.

4 goose limit, 3 ducks, feild hunting. No bands.

Tommorow will be better.

First shot with the new Extream2 55 yard #2 heavy shot dead as door nail with one shot :)

Love that new gun.

Now we can see how much that old SBE brings in well maybe.

between three of us we got 2 teal 3 woodies and a pair of fat honkers, field hunting. we really didn't see too much else on opener. I had to work this mourning, but there was a ton of shooting around the golf course I work at.

We did fair on saturday with 5 geese and 3 woodies for 3 people and on sunday 3 geese, 6 woodies, 1 teal, 1 mallard and a shovler(which I did not shoot, dang kids) All in all we did alright. Sunday after 9:00am didn't see a duck.

pretty much sucked, a goose and 2 teal on satereday and a goose and a drake mallard on sunday, what sucked most was we lost a teal and a drake woodie on saturday and 2 mallards on sunday :oops:

I didn't go out on opener or Sunday. I went out today with two friends and we did great. We ended up with 3 Drake Mallards, 3 Gadwal 1 Perfect Drake and Hen, 1 Hen Woodie, 1 Hen Spooner, 1 Widgeon and a perfect Bufflehead. Seen tons of geese. Had one flock of 15-20 locked up and commin in, NO JUST KIDDING........SKYBUSTERS!!!!!!! Ya gotta love'em. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I'm getting the Bufflehead and the Drake Gadwall mounted, I'll see them in about a year and a half. Was gonna do the pair of Gaddies, but it's gonna be spendy enough.
