regular iowa goose opener=Bands

hey boys just letting you know how we did on the opening day of the regular goose season. first day we only shot two due to our own stupidity they circled and we wanted them in the decoys but then flew away, my first goose of the year was banded, which was also my first band ever, pretty pumped about that, today we shot five and got another band, it was very slow but well worth it. also wondering how the rest of you did.

hey, we had a group of five guys and got 8, two away from our limit, we should have limited out but you know how that goes. it was a great time, a couple of my buddies came back from school for the weekend so it was awesome to be able to hunt with them again. we didnt get any bands but i have two bands so far this year. my first two ever!! it took me 4 years to get a banded bird. it was awesome. but o man, there are a ton of geese here right now and i have got my fair share of 'em and i aint done yet. i am up to 37. hope everyone else is doing well.
