From what I have heard it is next to impossible to find water, everywhere is low. Saylorville has been rising and falling daily. We set our deeks up in about a foot of water and when we were done we were picking them up off the mud. What ever the DNR is doing they need to start pumping some water! but then there has to be water to pump. We just need rain...BAD!

it so wierd. there isnt any water anywhere. most places arent going to have any all year. usually they raise saylorville 2 feet but they are only going to raise it 6 inches this year. from the reports everywhere is dry

big marsh has very little water but to be honest the ducks are loving it here, there are TONS of ducks here and quite abit of canadians as well, talked to the dnr here and he said theyre filling the marsh for ducks and geese not the boats. with the youth season this weekend we should pound the crap out of the geese.

Yeah I hunt with iowamigr8tor and kingkilla and normally, the water would be at least6 inches or a foot higher than it is right now. And normally, they raise it even higher, so the ducks can get to the millet.
