Arkansas Opener

Heading south tomorrow morning to scout for the Arkansas opener! Been hearing and reading good things about duck nunbers on the Arkansas river. I pray it's better than my Oklahoma season has been so far! Anyone else hunting Arkansas Saturday? If so good luck!!!

Had a real good hunt opening morning. Killed 30 by 10 am.
12 mallards,2 woodies,2 wigeons, 10 greenwings, and 4 grays

Day 2 was good...23 Killed
7 mallard, 2 wigeons, 2 greenwings, and 12 grays

Wish I was hunting with you! Saturday was awful! We were at the boat ramp by 2am and there was 30 boats already on the river!!!!!!! Some how we managed to find the one area everyone else was wanting to be as well. We couldn't get anything to work our spread!

I just got a report from Arkansas, and a buddy of mine's club had 73 sat with 17 shooters. Wish MS had more water so friday would be that good

Going to the ol' stand by honey hole on Wednesday. Went and scouted it last night and it was holding hundreds of mallards about 10 min. before sunset! Should make for a good evening shoot. Year after year this pond holds tons of ducks.

A buddy of mine lives in russellville, the hole he hunts had water in it friday and holding ducks....no water saturday. He was pissed. There were alot of LA. hunters up my way and there season started the weekend before.
