tuning to perfection

hey all of you hunters. I currently own a HPH and I really like the call, But I would like to super-tune the call for my needs. I'm looking for a goosey sound, and a fast responce. So if you guys have tips and stuff to tuning it to personal needs, please reply.

For speed and ease shorten the ammount of reed that is exposed, making sure that there is just enough room for the reed to fold into the channel. You dont want a huge gap in that spot, it will take too much air if you do that. The less reed that is exposed the higher pitched it will be. However it sounds extreamly goosey when you get the speed up.
