front moving through

went out for the geese yesterday and saw several flocks of ducks and geese dumping into Big Marsh here in Iowa. got one limit and had around 30 mallards over our decoys, waiting for next weekend. with this front moving through this week, it will be moving alot of birds around. i heard there talking snow in minnesota and wisconsin this week, it seems way to early for that.

you bet around three to four times a week depending on school and work plan on skipping a few days of school this year and hunting instead. lots of duck have piled in. drove around and saw ALOT of ducks alot of pintails and alot mallards.

Drake, is Big Marsh in the north zone for Iowa? Since they moved the zone, Saylorville is now in the south zone, which is where I do alot of hunting. So we dont really know where to hunt, if we hunt anywhere. How far away is Big Marsh from Des Moines? Will alot of people be hunting it?

It was nice all last week during the opening week. The day after the first split was over the weather turned and its been 30's and cold the last two days. It always seems to happen that way. We still had a successful opening week.
